Wilderness Safety & Wildlife Risk Management Training

Outdoor work and recreation in remote areas require awareness and preparation to safely coexist with potentially dangerous wildlife such as bears, moose, and wolves. This training emphasizes understanding animal behavior and adopting preventative practices to reduce risk for both people and animals, while also protecting organizational reputation and public safety. Delivered by experienced professionals with decades of experience as Prospectors, Deputy Conservations Officers, Police Firearms Instructors, Natural Resource Technicians, Forest Firefighters, Surveyors, and Search and Rescue Personnel. The program provides practical, real-world skills in wildlife deterrence, safe food and waste management, terrain awareness, and the use of tools such as bear spray and other deterrents. It also offers broader wilderness survival training and can be customized to meet the specific needs, scale, and budget of organizations operating in outdoor environments.
